Where's the Love* : Violence in the South of Thailand 1.0
04.30.04 (1:48 am) [edit]Two days ago on Yahoo! web page had featured news article on the violence in the South of Thailand. I was surprised.
As I blogged about this once in Febuary and guess what things are not getting better at all, like everybody knew that 2 days ago 107 teenagers from age 13 died from attacking police stations in the southern province of Thailand namely Yala, Pattani and Pangnga. The notorius Narathiwas doesn't make the list because of last month almost 40 schools burnt down so government sent troops out there protecting the province like bodyguards.
Anyway, some said that they were seperatists, some said that they were drug-addicts. Whether which one doesn't matter to me at all, but the fact that our kids out there whom their lives were taken. I wondered that what took these kids to risk their lives for something outrageous like this. What have they been taught, religious lessons, political conflict issues or drug-addicts just wanna fight back. No matter what it is, their young minds had been corrupted by some reckless adolescent who obsessively think only about themself and using our kids as weapon for doing something illegal without their hands dirty or blood shed.
In my idea I think that many cases in Thailand happened because two sides of people, one is young and stupid and another one is smarter and sophisticated. And those kids are the victims from whatsoever they had been told. We are our own victim in the world that is filled with love....
Deep regret for those corrupted young mind and those whom lost their love ones.
Here is my friend, Stuart's opinion on this matter.
Anatomy of Great Guy
04.29.04 (8:47 pm) [edit]As one of the topic that Big told Emy last weekend when he was in town, the story was that he had met this guy a friend of a friend or something, they were going out together a couple of times after they first met and it sounded like they both clicked or at least Big clicked him but the point of his story was he's thinking that that guy is really great, so great that he shouldn't be single and yes, he is not.
After I heard what he said, I was stuck with his words and wondered what really made of Great Guy?
What do you think?
My First Poem
04.29.04 (8:03 am) [edit]Ahh...I felt terrible lately, don't know that it's that time of the month or something or maybe I'm just having really bad days.
I just got bored with my work lately and people actually. They would ask me to do everything that they suppose that I can do, well should I?
It's been really busy last week I had a date everynight sometimes two and now all those are gone.
Actually I wonder my life right now that it is really something I wanna lead onto, menwise I mean.
mr. Big told one of our friends, Emy on the weekend dinner that I am the type that attracts boyfriend, too bad that it's always someone else's. I met Big while he was in relationships with someone.
Last night at the dinner with a friend and his boyfriend, I know that there is absolutely nothing going to happen between me and him and I get over it a while ago. But you know those pictures were not healthy to me at all. I felt out of place like always.
How many times that I have to feel lost in somebody's relationships? Am I really that type?
They told love comes so easy like finger tips.
But I always ain't Heart Breaker.
They told me I'm Home Wrecker.
And I always lost in someone else's Relationships.
The Cost of War : The Vanishing Light, Life of Pat Tillman
04.26.04 (6:12 am) [edit]As I started working today that I would check what's going on in the world today, and something had come cross my mind, which was the heroic death of patriotic Pat Tillman, a former Arizona Cardinal safety. He had turned his back from fortune and football fame and serve his country.
He had a life that many people dreamed of, but he gave up 3.6 millions dollar contract to pursue what he had an intention of, he said, 'I've got other things I'm going to do with my life'. His great grand father was at Pearl Harbour as well.
Last Thursday, a life of a young soldier had been spilt as the cost of war, he was killed in an ambush near Spera. He died at the age of 27.
This is only another life that we have lost in the war, how many more lives that we have to sacrifice for this war sake. Even though I can't say that I'm really close to one of those soldiers in Afganistan or Iraq but my heart felt deep regret for those whose lives had been lost and their families as well.
@#$%&*!!!!
04.21.04 (1:54 am) [edit]Sigh, I really have to say that today sucks. First of all, my colleague starts acting like she's my boss, I just can't help with the fact that she's my boss favorite person in the office. Hhh...hhuh and I was passively informed that I need supervision after all this passing time that I think I work perfectly. I consider myself efficient employee.
The fact that I can deliver project quite fast so many people turn to me for help and I'm kind enough to help them without saying a word of complaint.
And look what I've got today, I had to do sort of newsletter and I just needed someone to help me with the writing so I went to my close friend, a creative for help. Guess what, as the first time I open my mouth that colleague said that I HAVE TO do that myself, well yes I know that I gotta do that by myself but you know I just want my friend a little help not lik eI want them to do all that for me, @#$%&*!!!!
Actually I really pissed. Alright I'll let this anger goes now...
By the way, last month she asked me to help her and I did help her willingly. Can I just say "UNGRATEFUL" ?

Welcome back from the crazyness of Thailand's New Year, Songkran, everyone. Hope you don't come back in pieces :P
Anyway, it's just happened to me that I've got many visitors for last week and this week to come, hmm just wondered where they were before. However one of my dearest friend, Rick's back from the four-months long journey to India. It's so amazing that the 2 months plan could turn into 4, anyway, it's good to see him again. He looks like he lost 10 lbs. at least. Well, he looks good still.
I first met Rick one night in DJ's probably a week or two after my 24th birthday. Anyway, we hung out together for a while and then I went to the monastry and then he went to Cambodia and India right afterwards.
Actually that night I met him I was about to leave because it's not really fun and I just wanna dance for the last song and then he came.
... ... ...
I think that he had something got to do with me for making me, kind of, being so hysterical and funny. He also took me outside of Bangkok and discovered Koh Samed. It's been one of the moment in my life.
Finally he's about to leave the country again and will head to Seville, Spain probably in this couple of days. Hmmm....I know that he will go and have a better life or whatever it is. Heartfelt, deeply.
I do wish him well, my dearest friend, Rick.

Bangkok is going down.
04.14.04 (9:18 am) [edit]Ahhh...that's right Bnagkok is going down, well honestly I am a lil too overreacted it's just the test drive of Thailand first ever metro , Woo Hoo!!!
It's my opnion that Bangkok needs metro more than sky train, no offense! I am the one who loves riding on it but urban planning speaking, I think it's a huge piece of visual pollution. Besides this I think that is ok.
Anyway, this opportunity is up for grab for this songkran festival only, so sorry for you guys maybe you can have the real ride for yourself this coming Mother's Day
( August 12th ) It's sort of the Birthday gift for the Queen in the occasion that she's turning 6th round this year.
Actually I really like the design of the station entrance it's almost like functional art pieces. My favourite are the ones at the Sathorn and Rama 4 intersectin near the night bazaar. Both were design by French architect Robert G. Bouguey. He's a well known architect here in Thailand but sorry I already forgot where are all those of his design. Anyway, he's the person who won the Bangkok MoMA back a couple of years ago held by Thai Architect Associate and the site was at the corner of Patumwan intersection, the empty piece of property on the opposite side of MBK and Siam Discovery Center.
Anyway, I just wanna let you know what's really happening here in Bangkok now and hope to bring you more often.
I'm backkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk kkkkk!!!!
Chompoo Blossom
04.12.04 (1:05 am) [edit]It's the beginning of April. The weather has become hotter like hell and not so much wind passing by to cool off the heated tanned skin of this boy.
Surprisingly, since the beginning of last week that almost everywhere in the area has been painted pink by the plantation. The boy never notices this before but the sigh in front of him is much more pleasant and it can't be any better than this anymore. The whitish pink flowers that are blossomed around town are so spectacular even though it's not even single cool breeze to brush aside the heat. He only wishes that someone should be with him to enjoy this little event of his own. He just can't everything. Chompoo Blossom.
... ... ...
Chompoo Blossom has reminded me much about the Cherry Blossom in Washington D.C. Sadly that most of the time I was there I didn't pay much attention to them but now when I'm here I wish that I shouldn't miss that. Anyway, the Chompoo flower I mentioned here is called "Chompoo Bhantip" you can spot this trees and their flowers in many areas along the street of Bangkok. With tits whitish-pink colour and ruffled petals make the falling flowers look just like a ballerina gracefully jump up and finally land on the ground laying there as a big pastel carpet and waiting for the passer by to admire the beauty of the past glory.
